What the template gives you
A domain template is a starting hierarchy, a set of asset types and a failure vocabulary, so the first week is spent checking a model rather than inventing one.
Ropeways as a first-class asset type
Chairlifts, gondolas, surface lifts and trams, modelled against ANSI B77.1. The standard the inspection regime already runs on.
Snowmaking as a system, not a list
Guns, pumps and compressors sit in the hierarchy where they actually are, so a fault on a pump house shows what it feeds.
Maintenance that survives the season change
The same assets carry through to summer mountain bike operations. One record per lift, not one per season.
Daily checks that leave evidence
Pre-operation checks as typed checklist tasks with photo capture and an immutable signature, which is what an incident review asks for months later.
What it does not do
The lift asset type follows the ANSI B77.1 structure; it is not a certified inspection system and we do not submit anything to a regulator. Avalanche and weather feeds are read-only context from public sources, not a control input.
